I ordered my vRS 3 weeks ago now and i've been mulling over the idea of adding rear parking sensors. I've never had problems parking, but if it makes life a bit easier, increases resale appeal, and gives the car a tiny bit more of a feel of prestige - then I think its worth forking out the extra.

My questions are: for those who've changed their order - does it delay the build date? And now it's april will I have to pay the full price inc. VAT for them.

I've just checked the brochure - the VAT is only 46 so not bothered. ta

Sensors may delay the order ass the bits were from Japan iirc?

I was at my dealers yesterday and asked what's happening about the VAT offer, sounded like it's being extended to me... Get on to them asap, certain options are "confirmed" earlier than others.

If its a hatch your ordering I wouldnt bother, doesnt really need them. Estate is another matter though, is actually quite a long car.
