Well grew some balls and decided to split my xenons to paint the inserts black. Really pleased with the results

If they are OE xenons with self levelling then they need to be set as you have disconnected them and had them out. They will need to be set up properly on a beam setter but that needs to be done whilst in basic settings to set the base level so the motors can work. If this isn't done the motors will just try and adjust to the last set level. This quite often causes the bounce that some people complain of.

He means your silver indicator bulbs. Theyre not Diadems, Diadems give off a blue blue reflection.

lets say i was too scared to split my own standard vrs headlights....is it possible to buy standard lights with the bits you have painted black already done ???

i stupidly have one black tinted headlight... and one normal "chrome" looking one!

bought a brand new headlight off ebay the other day for £40 only to find its a black tint one.... any idea how much it would be for another black tinted one for the driverside? or are they easy enough to paint black anyway?
