the first one is, the o/s/r electric window doesn't go up or down!!

it makes a noise and seem as if it wants to go down but does nothing.

does anyone know if these have a tendensy to faulter

and the second one is, i have clonking brakes when changing from 1st gear into reverse ie when parking.

any thoughts would be a big help!!!!

sorted the o/s/r window problem

it was the mech had patially siezed and the previous owner had wedged the window up with a piece of wood!!!!

as for the knocking noise from the brakes, i haven't heard it since i posted

That will be a duff solenoid.

got a new one and it's still the same

Is the lock in the correct position so it works off the central locking?

yeh everything is ok

but i have noticed the rear wiper and washer have stopped aswell which leads me to think it's a broken wire or two
