What kind of power would a garett pd150 be able to handle?

Recently fitted a second hand pd130( kkk ) with low mileage on it but it's decided to let go the weekend. I'm thinking the turbo was ok but something else has failed causing it to let go. I was told the turbo is running 2bar so I'm thinking the turbos just can't handle this much pressure?

Before the turbo let go the car felt a little strange when accelerating, then 5 muns later she poped. That turbo was on the car around a month.

Can't really afford the hybrid route at the moment so would either a garett either pd130/150 be more reliable than a kkk?

Also thinking about getting the boost lowered to see if that's causing the turbos to blow.
