Retrofit MFSW

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Hypothetical question here but if somebody was to buy a Fabia RS and it came with a standard wheel without flappy paddles, could the MFSW be retrofitted? Would it need an additional wiring loom/modules?

I believe there is a thread on the Yeti forum where a mfsw c/w paddles was retro-fitted, might be worth a look

You got a link.....done some searching but can't find anything?

New vRS would not come without a flappy paddle MFSW, is a vRS branded standard fit item. Heavens forbid that it did I'd expect the dealer to sort it pronto.

Standard wheel only controls audio settings (set of buttons on left spoke), if you order the bluetooth kit you can order an uprated wheel which comes with buttons for telephone control also (on the right spoke). Is quite good that the Fabia comes with audio controls as these are optional on the Polo GTi!

Standard vRS in Republic of Ireland does not come with flappy paddle MFSW (as I and the dealer discovered when I went to collect mine). Dealer is trying to sort it pronto :)

God thats pants! Glad the dealer is trying to sort it out for you, should be a fairly simple swap and VCDS re-code.
