Is it possible to change what is displayed in the lower third of the maxi-dot display.

Presently, the top third shows the radio station (when radio is ON), the middle section shows the trip/mpg/speed/time, the lower third display shows the outside temperature. However, the outside temperature is shown on the Climatronic display, so I would like some other item of information instead.

Can this be done without a VAGCOM/VCDS? What optional information is available?

No not possible,but with my Amundsen sat system it goes through the maxi-dot

Am I right in thinking this trip computer isnt the same as the maxi-dot display currently found in VAG products, rather more like the Audi DIS? It's just the audio info can only be shown in-lieu of the trip computer, not at the same time on the new Maxi-dot.
