Looks good, i used to have systems in past cars but as im a family man of 30 would be classed as a chav if i started to do builds again emoticon-0136-giggle.gif.....emoticon-0148-yes.gif

would look better had it been central...

just out of interest what do you do with your spare wheel if you repace it with a sub ?

You can get them little bottles that you fill your wheel up with if u get a puncture for example, either sharans or tourans come with them.

HOLTS TYREWELD emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I did a boot build in my old mondeo estate had to leave the spare tyre at home bought some tyre weld just incase but when it came time to use it after a flat it wouldnt seal the hole tryed 2 bottles of the stuff following the instructions to the letter but unless you have a very small hole it wont seal it

Speaking from experience holts tyre weld is useless!!

I've got a spare wheel well sub box to fit a fabia which should go in without needing any kind of build done, not using it because I can't risk not having a spare. My plan is to keep the spare wheel as I have a 17" full size alloy. I'd like to create a gasket type system round the top of the well with a shallow build of about 50-60mm to hide the amp so the sub goes down into the tyre well above the inside of the wheel where the jack box usually is. I want to keep the sub covered up and retain the standard rear carpet if possible as I don't want it to be visible. The plan is that the sub and top can just lift out if you need access to the spare.

There was someone who posted up recently with a really nice subtle build though.
