Replacement Door Mirror Glass

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My drivers side door mirror glass decided to fall off today and smash on the ground (looks like water got in behind it).

I looked on Skodaparts.com and they charge £44.12 for the replacement mirror glass (WOW!)

Having looked on Halfords website and using my registration number, they have a replacement for £9.50

That's a huge price difference and I plan just to go for the Halfords option.

Anything I'm missing?

Aftermarket mirrors in my experience are rubbish. The optics are all over the place on the last one i bought for the Bora. You might also want to check that it is heated.

Also check your Skoda dealer for a price.... Or go to a scrappy/ebay as I believe the pre f/l models are the same as the Polo 9N3 and Audi A4?

Thanks JRW.

Having done a few searches on the web I'll probably by-pass halfords and go for a better one.
