Hello - I'm Rachael, I live in Oxford and in the next fortnight or so with any luck Husband and I will be taking delivery of our Superb Combi (Elegance, CR 170 PS DSG). Can't wait! Having driven a series of rust buckets since leaving university it will be so nice to have something without bits falling off (currently driving a 1998 Seat Cordoba Vario in a particularly unattractive shade of burnt orange - one previous lady owner so I'm not quite sure what she was thinking there).

It will be very nice to have a car that our parents/colleagues/friends aren't embarrassed by, but the Cordoba owes us nothing and I will be quite sad to see her go. I daresay I will be comforted by the Superb though...

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced insurance companies outside of the comparison sites. Everyone said policies had gone up last year but mine was still ok, but it's gone up higher than I'd like this year. I'm in my 40's, driving for 27 years, full no claims. Maybe its the same for everyone but it feel like robbery when it's a 2010 car, Skoda superb elegance, TDI, DSG. When I bought it it was about £400, got it down to £185 and its back to £300

I recently bought a used 2024 (built 2023) diesel Octavia Vrs. Although my phone - Motorola G9play - shows on the Skoda website as compatible with the infotainment system, I have been unable to link the phone after multiple attempts. Has anyone had this as an issue and found a solution?

Hi All. Just got a 2019 Karoq 2019 SE L........i've noted other people have had an uncomvortable seat experience but its not many. The seats are nurdering my mid/upper back and I cannot find a position that works. I drive several cars each year and have been driving for over 20 years....never had anything like this happen. Hi. I've posted recently ( thanks everyone) about a worrying occasional rattle that disappears on depressing the clutch. Thanks to advice here the belt (40K 5 years) should be ok..I then thought the rattle might be the dual mass flywheel,as I had experienced this on my old T4 .However Skoda say the flywheel is solid. Trying to get more advice before splashing out on belt/clutch. Does anybody have an independent guy in the Lincoln/south Lincolnshire area please. Thanks Mick
