I know this has been done to death, but I need a full geometry check doing.

To cut a long story short, I had Kwik-Fit check my wheel alignment today (it was free with the offer to swap your winters back to your summer tyres). According to them it is miles off. After a bit of arguing saying 'don't adjust the fronts to the rears as it will be the rears that are out' they hung the alignment guages on the rear wheels, and guess what, they are out - different toe in and camber at each side.

So, I need to get it set up properly, North of Manchester, in the next week. Blackburn/Burnley/Bury area, before I shred my rear tyres. Bury would be preferable as it is closest to work, but could possibly do one of the others as have to go for physio a couple of times this week.

Anyone got any recommendations of where to go for a proper geometry check and setup???

I am in Salford on Saturday, so not a million miles away from Awesome - is that my best bet - £118 seems a bit pricey though (price from their website)??

It was only £50 for me when I went down last time for a full 4 wheel alignment

Just found that Nigel Lang's in Bolton have a Hunter system - anyone used them?

Alignment is not the same as geometry!!

Kwik-fit can do alignment

They have agents all over the uk and can tell you who has the required kit to do it properly

Cheers - the one in Dudley was a full set up on a Hunter system as well - I think the OP meant a full geometry check!

I will call Nigel Lang's tomorrow and see what the score is.

In which case I may as well go to Awesome as it is close by. Just need to raid the piggy bank now!
