offset for Superb 17inch alloys

Featured Replies

I've got a set of alloys - believe they are "Orbit" alloys. They were the same design as the 17 inch alloys on my Edition 100, but a slightly different shade.

Does anyone know the offset and other details for this wheel? Presume it's the same for all 17 inch alloys for the Superb. Just need whatever details I need to know to see if these will fit on a different car. Both cars are 5 stud, so that's a start, but other than that, I've no idea if they will fit the other car (Saab 9-5).

If they don't fit the Saab, I'll have to get them sold. The only time they were on a car was in a showroom, so never been used on the road. Wasted sitting in my shed for the last 4 years or so!

Normally the offset is indicated on the inside of the spokes as "ET XX"

The normal Superb MK1 offset is ET 37.

Otherwise the standard fitting wheel is 7inch rim width (7J) and the 5 bolt fixing is on 112mm diameter circle (PCD 112)

You would have to check with any other car what offset range is allowed. I think the Superb allows 35 - 45.

Thanks for that Stephenb

Hi mate. If you are planning to sell these, send me a PM, might be interested.

I might well do as they definately won't fit the Saab. Need to get them out of the shed and get some pictures.

Hmmm, I'd be interested too if you can get pics up

How are you finding the Aero 9-5? I was contemplating this car seriously before buying the Superb as the family cross-continent wagon. One of the things that decided against the Aero was the small range on a tank of fuel.
