Audi s3 exhaust

Featured Replies

As above....I've been offered an S3 exhaust (cat back) and wondered whether it'd fit my vRS?

Cheers

Don't think it'll fit the VRS.

Doubt it as the way the down pipe fits to the cat back is different(routed different from K04).

Also hook up points at the back box will be different(probably same as Golf) and the rear box will not sit correct due to the VRS being longer and having a differnt rear bumper outlet for exhaust. Unless you want stealth effect and prepared to mess with fitting it.

No , the S3 is different to a vRS , I believe the hangers are different

You been offered one cheap?

Sarah

Yeah wont fit TT has a different floor plan

Yeah, its a stainless steel one with twin pipes at the rear. It doesn't have a back box, just centre boxes. That should help with fitting, but could cause a lot of noise.

£80 seems like its worth a punt!?

s3 has 2 centre boxes (side by side iirc), the octavia does not, its just one, the backbox will be way too short too, i know i tried fitting a golf one to my setup, was going to extend the rear pipe out past the backbox but in the end got an octavia box.....it was easier!
