Featured Replies

I've been trying to use my own music tracks to make ringtones but Itunes wont let me save them as ringtones it seems i can only buy them from Itunes. Ive searched the web but every thing it suggests wont work "creat ACC version" and cut length to 30sec, rename file location ect has apple taken this feature away so i have to now buy it from Itunes? any one got any suggestions?

Have a look at Ringtone Designer which is available for download from the iTunes store. I found it very easy to use.

Have you changed the extension to .m4r - otherwise it ignores them. It's basically just an .m4a file with a changed extension. I've used plenty of my own audio on my 3gs as ringtones (mostly as alarm tones tbh).
