design fault leather rear seat

Featured Replies

hello,

Yesterday I wanted to transport my bike in the car. So I folded down the seats and noticed that I had almose a hole on the bottom of the armrest.

It seems that the armrest is touching somewhere while driving, luckily its leather otherwise it was a hole!

The armrest is compressed inside the mechanisme and is scratching the armrest.

Then I noticed a plastic part on the right side of the armrest, between both seat (you can only see this when you are folding down the seats). And this plastic cap is clicked on the right side of the armrest. But it's plastic on plastic and this is making an annoying noise when driving over speed bumps, bad roads, corners. I solved this by a a piece of foam and sealant, now it's gone.

I hear still something, but I think its comming from the umbrella holder in the door.

OK, so far I can live with that.

But unfortunately if you fold down the back seat, the seat is touching the safety belt clip (you know the stuff with the red push button to fasten the belt).

And this is destroying the leather seats, I have now a well in the seat. How can you remove the safety belt female plugs???

Some ideas, or do I have the only superb with this design fault?

thanks,

Michael
