So any photoshop guru's fancy cutting out a bumper of a MK4 Ibiza with a pre-facelift front end?

In fairness, I think the only thing I could do, is completly cut bumper into two pieces...?

just buy a cupra front end which is suited for a fmic setup, dont think big mouth would suit the ibiza in the slightest

LOL. Err mate the front end of the Cupra will give little to no increase in air intake for my cooler.

I agree, I dont think a big mouth front end would, but.... my car isnt here to look pretty... and show off... yet be slow ;-)

Hehe, thats the 3 Ibiza's for the Redline shoot, mine was going to be there instead of the silver one, but turbo is knackered and clutch, so passed it on to Tom.

As for the red ibiza that looks like a huge hole, it isnt... he has just got vinyl and taken off the number plate :( Gives you a good idea however if you where to open it up, problem I would have is a big ass silver intercooler there...

Looks like one of those bottom feeder fish like that!

Think the best one so far was the one on SCN. If you put same black mesh in front would that help tone down the silver?

well the cupra was designed with a front mount so i reckon it must help, maybe not as fully as you want but certainly better than most other bumpers.

I'm not so sure either. I reckon it would help. There looks to be a fair bit more available area, compared with a std model in the signature image above.

the one in the sig above is running a sportrider front bumper that full black bit isnt mesh, its the number plate holder vinyled black to make it look like 1 big black grill. only the bottom half to the hight of the fog light mesh is mesh too, it belongs to adamkelly on seatcupra.net, i used to have a mk4 so know the bumpers available etc. there probably isnt a diffence in airflow between the 2 but i would still go for a cupra bumper like i did as it was designed for the only mk4 ibiza that was standard with a fmic. adam is runnin an Fmic on that one with no problems.

look here, this is the same bumper as the 3rd ibiza but with the number plate part standard.

Yep, that looks pretty good to me. I'd re-introduce the Seat badge to the usual location though, just to detract and divert from the black emptiness
