Are hammerite and two pack able to cope with the tempatures?

Joe

Toolstation at Bridgwater do a Green metal paint smooth or hammer finish i dont know how heat resistant it is but its around £8 for 500ml might be worth a look.

dont bother with hammerite its bruch on and crap.

get 2 pack or I got some other type that drys in 10 mins cant remember what he called it but its good stuff. dryed fast and has a nice shine to it. he didnt do the 2 pack that you can activate in the spray can but some places do. just this place I used didnt have that option.

Just find a local auto paint place. search on google mate, and take a trip to see them and they match it up there and then. took them 15 mins to mix the paint

cost me £12 for the paint. so far its holding up well nd they have been very hot lol. Ill be leaving them as is for a few month to see how it holds up and if all is well Ill leave them on the car and cover everything and scrub them down again and repaint.

get it matched up by a paint shop, the Hammerite is not quite as perfect. I found its a tad lighter when I painted the RARB. also it takes a while to dry and its very soft and chips real easily

that green is a darker green to the vRS green, I have it and painted one of the 22mm RARB I have for sale. good for the price and reasonably hard but not the right shade

Ill pop overy to avon auto colours in taunton at some point and get some paint mixed up! Ive sprayed racker covers and a engine with normal spray paint before and its been ok, so ill give it a shot and see what happens! Least it would be the right colour :)
