does anyone know the correct size for the flexi pipe on the standard cat for the vRS?

Need to know diameter and length.

Well i can be wrong! I have downpipe at work so can take measurements tomorrow if you want...

Or maybe someone has pipe nearer today?

At thinnest part i recall measuring 48mm, but it's larger where flex is...

If you could measure it than that would be great please.

It's amazing how restrictive the standard downpipe is! My dad couldn't believe it when he saw mine the other day.

Are you replacing the whole pipe or just the flexi section?

Interesting to see the true measured output OD of the pipe for once (55.37mm / 2.18"). Did you measure the input OD of the cat-back system? I presume it will be the same diameter.

Nice waterproof vernier calipers by the way.....

just the flexi, though looking at it, the flexi on the pipe looks ok, just the weld that's gone.
