I'm thinking of buying one these to make wax\polish application easier. Does anyone use one?

If so, is it worth it? Recommended model? What should I be looking to pay for one?

Cheers

Steve

DONT

Do it by hand, In my experiance they are a waste of time. Scratched the hell out of one of my old cars when a small stray bit of grit got in the bonnet.

Bought a NUTOOL one......seemed like hard work, ended up with swirls on paintwork. Junk IMO

Well, I used a well chunky one to polish my car about two weeks ago, but it was so damn awkward, and the rotating bit too large, I missed loads of bits and ended up spending another 20 minutes with a clean cloth finding all the missed bits.

IMO, I'd rather just use two cloths like I always do. I tried it and [little Britain] don't like it! [/little britain] (yeah, I know!)

Right, thanks for the quick summary guys. That's some money saved then.

I would always worry about getting debris on the pad Ross, and as you say, that could be costly :thumbdwn:

Back to the ol' elbow grease method then... :)

Thanks,

Steve

Just buy some E-clothes. Bets thing for buffing after wax application, and then a final buff shine.

(Halfords do packs of 3 types for around

Do it by hand always gives best results!!!!!
