Yeee..hahhhhh Finally driving my Superb

Featured Replies

Safely delivered to my work at 9am this morning as promised by leasing company. Exactly as specced.

Over half a tank of fuel, radio tuned in DRLs switched on

Feels nice. Got to go back to work now for a short time then think of an excuse to visit some staff and have drive.

Couple of photos to whet the apetite of those still in torture.

Wait IS worth it as others have said

Nice! Enjoy the new motor!

Very nice and the "B" sticker in already

Looking good.

What's with the roof aerial... is it a new style for the Twinhatch? I knew they were changing the old beesting type aerial, but wasn't sure whether they'd just go for the shark fin style from the Estate :wonder:

Seems to be a rubber bung- I was quite surprised by it. Radio reception with the Swing system is good with no intereference on the main FM chanels I use (Radio 2,4 and Classic) still to get sound balance sorted but very impressed so far.

FIrst impressions- 1.6 can certainly move the car, and it doesnt feel any slower than my 2.0 Deisel Avensis was, I was worried having had an Avensis that others were comparing the Superb to smaller cars like Ocy etc, but WOW- it is smoother, quieter and more comfortable ride than the Avensis- really delighted by this.

I noticed that in the Autocar driver survey the Superb won the other week that it came very high for effectiveness of the brakes- can vouch for that. When you all get you cars in the next few days be VERY gentle with the middle peddle until you get used to it, or the one on the left for those with DSG. Cruise control is idiot proof compared to Toyota system and is a delight.

Despite having an S spec with no Maxidot I have an indication of which gear I am in, and an arrow showing when to change- cool!

Workmates who have seen it so far cant believe the space both in the back seats and the boot.

Looking good, congrats

Pleased for you mate, looks nice.
