Just got back from collecting my VRS. I chopped in my Octy VRS 170CR for it. The Octy was only 28 months old and I loved it but due to the fact I have taken early retirement and aint doing the miles commuting anymore it was being left in the garage most days and not being used, I have a 1.9tdi fabia for general use. Decided to sell the Octy back to the dealers but whilst there had a drive in the Furby VRS and was sold straight away. Basically the dealer had my Octy in part ex plus a grand off me for a brand new car so it was a no brainer. All the way to the dealers today I was feeling sick at the thought of losing my Octy.

Just got back and have forgoten about it already, what a car the fabia is. Its about fifteen miles from the dealership back home some of it through cannock chase and some through winding country road so I put it through its paces. Wow what a car it has blistering performance on the few overtakes I made. I love it already and I know I aint going to miss me Octy. For those waiting for yours let me tell you it is well worth it you will not be disappointed when it arrives. The build quality feels top notch and it drives and rides really nice.

For the record I ordered silver with black roof,and mats. for those who have ordered mats they are Okay and come with red stitching which matches the red seats I ordered. Very happy.

By the way anyone looking for a second hand Octy VRS mine was mint I dont know how much the dealer will sell it for but it would be a good buy only done 28,000 miles might post something on the Octy site giving people an heads up. The dealer is Autosales in Burntwood Staffs.

I have taken some pics of the furby and will try and upload them tommorow but a bit of a novice when it comes to that type of thing so any advice would be welcome

Just been out for another spin in mine, I can tell you its a great car put my foot down a bit more in it today and I thought I was going to take off the acceleration is immense. Wait till you get yours you are going to love it.

Ordered mine at the end of march and was quoted 25 weeks wait. hoping it will be a little quicker than that

Just spoke to the dealer... mine is still in Emden waiting shipment, apparently need to wait on the boat getting filled up :wonder: says it shouldnt be too long though.

Ours is confirmed for week 18 build (next week), dealer reckons we should have it in about 4 weeks! Happy days!
