Featured Replies

hi guys thought id post up to get some advice my turbo just exploded albeit its done 124000 miles but what should i get to replace it i was thinking about the allard vt2 or vt3 hybrids but whgat do people think of them? and anyone else know where to get a hybrid for a good price?

Any help appreciated

Robbie

Depends what you want power wise? Standard, just get another 130 turbo. Up to 200ish get a standard 150. If your wanting more than that get a hybrid 150. Turbo technics & garrett do them, around £1100 iirc

thought id go for a bit of an overkill clutch setup for what i was running but now that im going for more power it makes sence :)

I'm running a VT2 and would recommend it. Allard are a great company to deal with.

As said above, Turbo Dynamics seems to be the other popular place to go.

Just out of curiosity how much did the vt2 set you back?

About £950 I think, although that was last August.
