I had my Fabia RS on the rollers last day , was on "Bilsport Performance and Custom Motorshow" to check out how much there really was under the hood on that car.

Seems it got 187 hk / 256 nm , not too bad since it only got TBE on it with no software-update!

Now , I've been thinking about what to keep on going with.

Airfilter is on it's way , the intercooler is being measured up to see what fits inside the front.

The interesting bit is software.

I'm planning on going for E85 (Ethanol) but I'm abit worried for the headgasket!

What type off headgasket is it on the car?

Is it in steel or in cork?

Anything else that people have as useful tips on how to increase the speed off my mean green machine?

Ask Skoda concerning head-gasket would be an obvious telephone call.?

Here in Sweden we got vtech , revo got a reseller and BSR is one aswell.

The problem there is that Vtech doesn't got anything above stage 1 (which means they have to do a new map just for me) , revo's reseller is about 500 km away from me and BSR...

Well ,it's not really a big performance-boost from them!

+ That they don't do anything over stage 1.

V-tech can solve the new encryption , they open it up and do something about that got to do with a grounding-point or whatever they said.

I'm pretty sure that I will go for Vtech about the software , it's more which hardware I should aim on.

I've read that it's recommended that you go for a full induction-kit rather then just a replacement-filter , is it really that big off a difference?

I've ordered a K&N filter for my standard-box , but if the original-box is as bad as I've read , maybe I should go for a complete kit then?

If that is the case , which one should I go for?

Sorry for all the questions , but I rather ask one question too many now then one too few if you know what I mean :p!

Most guys arent into tuning on here yet as its so new, however if you try the websitre above and also >>>here<<<< you will find loads of guys who have tuned their 1.4TSI

Thanks for the thread , as I see it there is only one option tho about the intake and that is the itg-solution?

Forge has removed all their stuff except for spacers on Fabia RS and they got nothing for the Seat Ibiza at all =(.

My plan tho for intercooler is to get a intercooler from KL-racing that fits between the frontspoiler and the intercooler which is already there.

Doing my own solution on the "twintercooler" so to say.

Didn't think that just a new filter would do that big gain tho!
