Red octy for sale..... (not mine)

Featured Replies

Just incase anyone is looking for a red vRS I have seen this one up for sale locally:

link to autotrader

Looks like a big spoiler on the back, and the black trims are red, so not sure what else has been done to it.

Looks quite nice, but as you say not sure what other tinkering might mave been done and £4k :D

Are VRS's in short supply in the South West?

The car cannot be worth much more than £2k, depdnding upon the history and recent servicing done.

that wrc spoiler makes the wheels look small to me. and the colour coded strips????

mmm

the price is a bit much.

I don't like the large spoiler, but I do think the colour coded strips look good when in red. I guess a lot of is down to what we are used to with out cars when then roll out of the factory.

As for the price, no idea. But that probably means my 2001 TDI with 180k on the clock is only worth about £800 :-(

4k??

This car is very similar to my vrs, same colour i also have my door strips colour coded, roughly the same mileage, i have now added a few mods to mine remap etc. Plus mine is slightly newer on a 52 plate.

I payed 3k for mine 10months ago so i think 4k is a bit optimistic lol

The colour coded strips are too much, the Octy suits them if they are actually kept black and not left to fade to grey.

Far too expensive considering the mint black one for sale in the classifieds for the same price.

Notice, the price is gone down to £3,495.

Too red for my liking, needs the black trim to break it up.

I have that rear spoiler on mine, but must admit does not suit that red car. Perhaps because the car is std ride height and pretty much std apart from the spolier. Looks out of place.
