I have a Skoda Fabia, 2003 Model, 1.4Tdi .

Problem is, when I use the AC, the Stereo (at full volume), I have this electro hydraulic power steering warning light On. It happens usually after a session of 30KM. The steering becomes tight, and the stereo shuts down, along with all other electrical components. Please note, this happens usually in the night, when I use the high beam too.

Then, I shut down all non-essential electrical items, and then wait for 2 minutes and restart. Mostly this remedy works..But I need a solution, so that the problem be removed permanently.

Please suggest any solutions.

I shall be getting my battery checked today. Fuses have already been checked, and it seems fine.

Sounds battery/alternator related.
