The Maxidot on my VRS seems to have a mind of its own to what is displayed after starting the car.

This may be normal behaviour, but just wanted to check if so, or if it can be changed.

What I mean is I may have the display on audio, showing radio station when I turn off the ignition. When I restart later it may return to that display, or show some random MFD display such as Range or Fuel Consumption. Or I may have it on range, and it switches to journey time. Seems as if the display on startup is random.

Had a quick scan on here, but didn't find anything. Definitely not accidentally pressing anything when starting and is full Maxidot display as I've got DSG

Hi ,the maxidot is supposed to show the screen/functions at time of last switch off engine . So whatever it is on at switch off, should show on start of new journey. Thats what manual says,so perhaps something could be wrong.

Mine has the same problem, so I would be very interested in finding out how to fix it.
