Ok then arch and bang centre of the lower middle part of the front bumper?

Can do, but front and rear arches would be best :)

Although the boys wearing 16's are still going to clean up :(

Also, quick qu about notching - does the fabia just need the notch on the driver's side, just like the golf???

Also, quick qu what is notching hahah. Will it mean I can lower?

basically, you'll go so low that the driveshaft will rub on the chassis leg :(

A notch is cut in the chassis (and fully welded & sealed) to allow more lows and no more hitting the driveshaft

Google 'chassis notch' or search on E38 for more info :)

its only the drivers side what needs the notch, doing mine next month,im down to 9 half on my splitter,il do the arch tomorrow.

cheers for confirmation LV - if you weren't based about a million miles from me, I'd ask where you're getting it done.... :)

no probs mate,im doing the notch myself, qualified welder, did one on my old 20vt,you can go quite abit lower.

Ill put my 16' on and then measure. The splitter was about 50mm with it haha

IIRC when I got my fabia the front coilovers had about 3 threads visible at the bottom and the undertray caught on pretty much everything and was not practical for where I lived so up they came and it drove so much better :)

Bear in mind that if it's on the floor although it looks good theres a higher risk of smashing your sump

im down to a thread left on the front and its firm but not inpractical, and as long as you watch out on the roads then i find its no worse than driving a normal car.
