Number plate light fault

Featured Replies

It appears that I have a fault with my number plate light which comes on on it's own at night (normally). No other lights come on or have been put on. Car has been to the garage but mechanic can find no fault with it. Also had a diagnostic person look and we thought that the problem had been solved by removing a fuse. However went out to use the car today and battery is completely flat even thought battery is only two weeks old following the finding of the fault. Can anyone help please.

Had what i think was same fault and turned out to be the light switch itself. Maybe worth checking?
