ABS Sensor cable part number?

Featured Replies

I am an eejit.

When I reassembled my suspension today I didn't clip the ABS sensor cable into the top clips, so first time I went lock to lock it caught in the wheel and ripped the wires out of the plug.

FAIL.

I have a temporary fix with some crimp connectors but it's not ideal. And it's quite an important thing :)

The cable from where it connects to the wheel arch to the ABS sensor is all one part.

Anyone able to look up on ETKA please and get the number?

Also what happens where it goes through the body to the engine bay? Is that a connection? It's hard to tell and harder to get to!

Either that or if someone is breaking a car they could chop the cable end off and I could join it in :) Might be a simpler solution.

If no one replies today I'll get it for you in the morning, which side is it? As far as I'm aware it's just spliced into the main loom no connectors I don't think

Passenger side - it has the brake wear sensor wire attached to it as well.

The pic answers my other question - it doesn't have a plug at the engine end.

Looks like Billy might be able to supply enough of it from his breaking car for me to fix it - hopefully!

Edit: List price $99 US according to the site I stole the pic from!

retail over here is £31 +vat
