Spraying

Featured Replies

Just had my front grill colour coded and also had my centre peice of the engine cover colour coded...was quoted £50-60...its not come back at £90 after the work is complete as the grill was a real nightmare apparently?

Is this a good price still? I feel a bit reluctant to pay it after just sticking a further 50% extra on the price. :wonder:

If they quoted £50 to £60 then this is the price to pay surely, or was it an estimate?

was a verbal estimate so means squat basically...however even as it stands I thought estimate were supposed to be close to the price?

I paid £48 from the Skoda bodyshop up here to have my grille done (slight discount as we got two done- think it was £60 for one).

When I was quoted I was told £40 each- turned up to be told it was £40+VAT :wonder:

Don't know how big the bit you had done on the engine cover is but £90 doesn't seem too bad- although I can understand why you're annoyed and I think I'd be feeling exactly the same as you.

I'm having the Upper Grille and the lower Grille (3 parts) sprayed on my MkII VRS for £95 quid all in by Smart ABC.
