Featured Replies

It looks very good i be looking in to one for my vRS

Yup it is a direct swap for the oem filter. There is a thread about air filters over on SCN Link

would this fit crtdi 1.6 105bhp

What improvement will it give over the standard one?

Will this effect the performance in anyway?

I know it's not a proper upgrade but, I fitted the panel filter in my 1.4 Tdi fabia and to be honest not sure it was a placebo effect but better fuel and performance so this should be similar or better I used a K&N

Thanks for that. They easy enough to swap out?

Appears to be clip-out, clip-on fitment, so you should be fine :)

Cheers Stu. I thought it was as easy as that but just checking :D Could be mod number 2 after my stubby aerial replacement (which i have no idea if it'll fit or not, didn't realise I was getting te shark fin aerial for the bluetooth)

Aye once in a while need to get specialised cleaner from K&N but will never have to replace, once the crtdi one available on eBay I will replace that

well fitted mine took longer than planed dropped a sodding screw :swear: that took a lot to get to as it fell behind the ecu wires. 6 screws the ones at the back were the buger i mean a pain but once that was sorted screw the new one in, and job dun. Performance side yes there is a difference in pick up and feels bit smoother will let u all know after my work run.

Nice one Tom. Reckon it'll do anything for MPG?

Any noise difference?

Also, would I have to tell insurance about one of these? Surely it is just 'replacement filter'?

In theory you should tell your insurance company about any change to the car, whether you do is entirely up to you. Obviously a filter can be removed easier than say suspension...

Right guys,

this is my open op-ion on the revo filter.

to day i have done various driving town motor way few b roads and a roads pick up is a lot smoother seems to pull smoother and going through the mersey tunnels it sounded a bit meater. mpg wise i am getting around 26-31 mpg i will update this. the main difference is in sport you can hear it more and feel it sucking in air.

Four £43 quid its worth it very much. i have had no warning lights pop on my dash board and i called my insurance company and they wernt bothered took a note and that was it no change in my insurance.

Where did you buy for £43, as the price I found was less VAT so £50.50?
