I'd like to find out a little more about the cable you can buy to update the firmware of a CK3000 handsfree kit. I have two CK3000s but they appear to be unreliable (both have failed) :(

If anyone here has the said cable, please let me know - I'd like to try and make one up for experimentation

i have one but people on the other end complain that its very echoy...

Its a serial connection, so if you only have a usb based laptop you'll need an adaptor.

It would be very nice of you to post it to me, but it's something I'd want to keep as I have two units (one of which needs repairing ) and several work colleagues have it too. So whilst it would be very nice for you to post, I wouldn't want you to expect it back

Alternatively, if the cable has no real fancy components, I could make one up. But I'd need to know the pinouts
