Placey has posted some great pics of the MY12 Scout gear lever - it's better than the old one. Any ideas how much it would cost to order the new one, and what is involved with fitting it?

I was looking at the new lever the other day on a Scout at Bickertons. Personally I prefer the old one ..

Me too, my 2008 Scout is a pre-FL which came with the matt black facia surrounding the stereo and climate control - just too much black!

I had my local dealer replace it with the silver surround from the vRS to match the silver strips along the top of the glove box and around the light switch, this brightened up the cabin and (in my eyes) gave it a much more premium feel.

Another plus is that the older silver topped 4x4 gear lever now matched the silver facia!

I've now noticed that the FL Scouts get the silver trim as standard...
