Rear passenger side light faulty on my Vrs

Featured Replies

Hi all!

Firstly I'm new to this forum so much help would be appreciated :)

The issue i have is that the rear passenger side light is faulty. The warning light will appear on the dash and the bulb will be out however... After a few minutes of driving or giving it a slight knock will fix it and it will come back on.

Any one else had similar issues? I've got a mate with a polo gti that does the same.

Its a Mk 1 fabia Vrs btw :)

It's just a nearly burnt out bulb. Had the same fault for a couple of weeks.

I would be driving normal and when I brake the onboard bulb light would come on, then brake again it would go off.

Then when we went to the beach last week with 2 cars full, my misses driving behind me said that my left brake light was sometimes working and sometimes not coming on.

Checked the bulb and the filament inside was black and on it's way out.

Changed the bulb, 45p. Light haven't come on dash and now all is fine. :)

I assume your side light bulb is just about to pop.

Cheers mate. It's been like it for a few months now. Only tends to happen if the boot is slammed or the back door is slammed etc. It will go out for a few mins. Strange car!!

Strange car!!

The cars' fine, It's the bulb that's knackered!

Stop being tight, Go out and buy new bulbs cost you £5 at most and you want 21/4w Halfrauds
