My name is Jon and my wife (Chris) and I have decided on a secondhand Skoda Fabia Hatchback (2001 Y) as our choice of second car. We have just purchased a 1.4 mpi (it's either a classic or a comfort, I aint sure !!!), the car is a manual model with A/C but windee-up windows. 77k is on the clock, the history is reasonable and it's one owner. The car has come from a local dealer who is fitting a replacement coil spring for the mot (passenger rear) before we collect it on Monday.

We chose a Skoda because of the value for money when secondhand and the close association with VW reliability.

Cost is now a big issue for us as I'm about to be made redundant and the knackered old asthmatic LR Discovery has now got to go as keeping it running coupled with the next MOT just don't qualify for justification.

A couple of roof bars for the Fabia and I'm gonna be made up !!!! :yes: :yes: :yes:
