Feel for you there. Mine lost it's virginity to a tractor on second day of having it. Nice big clod of clay thrown up into the air by the tractor wheels with a dirty great piece of flint in it landed square on the bonnet making a cluster of nasty chips and then bounced up again and chipped my screen. Still haven't repaired it satisfactorily.

I got a massive chip on my bonnet the other week, had chipsaway and took to local body repair shop and both said the whole bonnet needs to be sprayed, chipsaway charge £180 and repair centre £207 which I went with, made me more at ease knowing the car was in proper paint booth etc. Know I'll get other chips but you just can't miss this thing on the bonnet! The joys of motoring  , just out of interest how much did Skoda dealer charge?

Skoda Touch Up Paint in case its of use to anyone mine arrived today, they have other colours too but I have linked directly to the superior more classy not at all common Race Blue (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh race blueeeeee) no chips to fill at mo touch wood

Just collected my touch up paint from dealer,it was £9 inc vat.

OK, I will confess my sin .......

Car was a couple of weeks old. I was creeping the car up to the garage door when .... crunch .... that sickening sound of car against harling. Front bumper below fog lamp had touched the harling at the side of the garage door. had taken a good gouge into the plastic about the size of your pinky nail - gutted.

However, repaired it using milliput and a touchup stick and must say I was very impressed with the colour match of the skoda stick. First wee war wound.
