im all set to finaly go and pick up a 80 odd thousand fabia vrs and wandered what your thoughts are to this.

the cambelt and water pump were changed at 40k ( which i thought was early ), receipts are there to prove so.

i wandered do i need to have it done again soon or not quite yet

General advice is 4 years (due to deterioration of material) or 60k miles (due to wear)

40k would be a bit early; unless that was all the mileage the car had done in 4 years or someone was being super cautious!

In theory it should be good until around 100k or until 4 years after it was changed whichever comes first
