Hey guys,

Since owning my Octavia, i have noticed that there is a bone-jarring driveline shudder when the car wheelspins. Happens to me with ESP on, doing a wet hillstart sometimes, and when joining a main road and accelerating hard in the dry. (the hill start is just me getting used to the DSG still.)

Does anybody know what it is and how to get rid of it? i am about to get the car Bluefinned and am worried about what the extra power might do in these situations.

It can be helped (not eliminated) by fitting a Whiteline anti-lift kit

It's wheel hop. Stiffer engine mounts will get rid of it. Most people start off by doing the lower bush underneath the car which helps.
