CD changer friendly Media?

Featured Replies

As above.

Anyone found a CD-R that's proved stable & reliable in the ubiquitous VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda 6 Disc changer?

My Changer is a wee bit picky, but changing the discs around changes it's behavior so more compatible media might help.

It might end up being ALDI's finest, ya never know, I'm not after the "Buy the best" kinda answers cuz the best are sometimes the worse when it comes to CD-R's.

Anyone Tried Taiyo Yudens, or plain Sonys?

None of my 'backup' CD-R's have worked in my changer to date, so would also be interested to know of any!

I never had a problem and the changer would read anything from Poundland specials to TDK without fuss, if you are having difficulty reading them then maybe the lens needs cleaning. There are not that many plants that make CDRs, so if most brands are made in the same factory and just have different stamp on them at the end of the line Taiyo Yuden are one of the biggest and make branded CDRs for a lot of manufacturers.

I've always found Verbatims good for picky CD players.

Not had any problems with my bolero n cd-r's all appear to work fine.
