How much better is the 2.0TDi against the 1.9 in terms of power/speed? Is it worth it?

You lose a little in fuel economy, but is it worth it!?

Me myself love the 2.0, mpg wise no not as good as the 1.9 but still can easily get 50mpg on a run.

Mine gets driven in a spirited manner and my mpg can be seen in my sig.

One thing the 1.9 is a 5 speed man as oposed to 6 gears in the 2.0, unless you go DSG.

It would be used. I have a 1.9, and would like to upgrade. Think I'm gonna opt for the 2.0 but wondered how much better it is in terms of speed!!

You won't be disappointed!

There is lots of midrange grunt, and you get a good shove in the back with the PD, the CR is a lot smoother in power delivery.
