One word of advice for you, make sure the grille is fully stripped by this I mean all the chrome gone, then when its sprayed I would recommend wrapping it in some form of protective film. The reason for this is mine acquires a new stone chip daily, and I think you will find I'm not the only one. :(

My painted grille is actually fine for stone chips. The only real damage it's ever incurred was when I flung it across my drive.
