Well, it's finally arrived today having been ordered on 06/10/04. The options/colour is as follows:-

Corrida Red/ Agate interior

Sirius 16" alloys

Cruise Control

Small Leather Pack

The car looks great with the Sirius alloys, better than the Vega alloys standard on the Elegance. I ordered these blind and only saw a picture afterwards.

The agate interior lightens things up and makes a change from the usual black.

The projector headlights are very powerful and mean that full beam is only required occasionally when driving along unlit country roads.

One minor annoyance is the illumination from the cigarette lighter which is VERY bright. I may see if the bulb/fuse can be removed. I don't smoke, hence, I have no need to locate the cigarette lighter, day or night!

After having driven a 406 the Octy steering is not as precise.

I'm pleased to have cruise again (missing from the 406), however, I'm going to miss the excellent 406 remote radio/CD stalk. The Octy main radio control knob would benefit from being a little larger than at present.

I'll post some pictures shortly. Does anyone else have an Ambiente with Sirius alloys? Most of the Octy 2's I've seen on the road have been Elegance models.

Mine's got a slight gap so the white light shines through. It's OK with the brightness turned right down.

I considered the same option for my Ambiente, but decided to opt for the Sirius 16" alloys and standard suspension. After 500 miles I think I made the right choice; the car rides well on all surfaces, yet has more grip on the slightly wider/lower profile tyres on the 16" rims.
