got in the car from work last night and noticed that the radio kept dropping the front speakers every now and again, when a cd was selected this didnt happen. then for no apparent reason the ASR light came on, i wasnt driving quickly (in slow moving traffic at the time) and the roads werent especially slippery.

when the traffix came to a stop i turned the engine off and took the key out to break the circuit for 10 seconds then fired back up again, everythings been fine since.

any ideas? anyone had this before?

I have had mine where i cannot turn the traction control back on again. Restarted the engine and it was ok.

My ASR light is on most of the time anyway or flashing morse code at me

thats basically what happened, it came on on the dash and i couldnt switch it on/off again so had to switch the car off.

at least i know its not a one off.
