Scout or Yeti?

Featured Replies

Very happy with our new Scout, having taken advantage of the no vat deal it was a no brainer at several thousand pounds less than a Yeti or the diesel Scout.

It will take me 234,000 miles before it breaks even with the equivalent diesel. Will I keep it that long? Let's see....

Hi from another newbie! Good choice! We've been very happy with our 07 Scout & the previous 06 4x4 Octavia estate. We get a lot of snow here in winter & they sailed through it, even before I got the winter tyres on.

I like the Yeti cockpit but need more space (plus the missus thinks it's ugly). Our 4x4 need is limited to snow covered roads & the occasionally muddy field or track & we need room for camping gear, dog, ski's, rucksacks, mates etc so we don't need the reduced overhangs of the Yeti & I need the economy of the diesel for work. For our needs it's as capable as our other car - an old S reg basic Jeep Cherokee - but a lot more refined!

Hi and welcome aboard.

Cute dog, we have two - a Jack Russell and a mongrel we call a 'Norgie' as he appears to be a cross between a Norfolk Terrier and a Corgi - rescued from the streets of Glasgow!

Anyway - just wondering if you have a dog cage as I am on the lookout for one.

Cheers

Tim
