Scan for a 2011 Superb Elegance

Featured Replies

I have a 2011 superb and have switched off the DRL's and cannot see how I have done it. Can someone post a scan of module 09 for a superb to let me compare it to mine please.

Thanks in advance

Sinclair

Have you done it via VCDS or just in the MFD?

I have also enabled byte 17, bit, 0 (which was 70 and is now 71) which is the adaptive/cornering light variant.

Thanks for that Gizmo. Just checked mine and apart from a difference in the tailgate lock all was the same, excluding byte 17, so there must be a fault elsewhere looks like a trip to the dealers since i haven't noticed them off since they coded the trailer socket

Sinclair

No problem,

My tailgate is electrically operated and I have disabled the 'beep' (when it opens).so that may the difference in coding there.

Did you ever sort this?

You may want to check out this thread where I did a similar thing, which I have since sorted

Yes I got it fixed,I took it back to the dealer, pleaded innocence and an hour later all fixed! My car had somehow lost the coding for the DRL's. I have read your other thread and will remember the coding for the lights in case I do something stupid again. Thanks for your intrest

If you save an autoscan from the car, you will never have to worry about remembering the coding. It's all in the autoscan.

Unfortunately the Byte 18 code (31 in this case) is hidden behind a 'mask' of 00, so by using the autoscan coding will not help any to regain the OE coding as it was never visible.

Yes, I just learned this from Theresias - Sebastian.. He said these guys are making life more difficult and it is something I did not know about. So, my regrets... Usually, the Autoscan helps....
