Waterless washing.

Featured Replies

Hi all, I was doing some late night shopping for car shampoo and whilst perusing through the Chemical Guys site I came across

http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/hsefree.htm

Apparently all it takes is a bucket of water, some of this stuff and thats it. You dunk your mit in the bucket and on to the dry car and it takes away all of the dirt and you don't have to rinse the car off, just dry off. Apparently its rather safe and doesn't swirl.

I have glossworkz in the post atm, but if that is really all you need then... well that is a much better option?

Anyone tried it yet?

I wouldnt use it, despite its claims of no swirls

Thinking the same as me. Least it isn't as bad as that mantiz stuff on TV. Just spray on heavy dirt and grime, then wipe away.

You'll find many a convert to ONR over at DW; just got a grout sponge today and will give it a try at the weekend after reading so many glowing reports on it.

Scary stuff i must admit...... not for me guys!!! :wonder:

Haven't tried any of these products myself but have read plenty of reviews from other's, for me it's like most product's there is always a market for it and a need to use them for a specific environment. I think if your completing a detail and it's indoor's or your not allowed to use a hose, etc then it's perfect, or on an old classic car for example.

For weekly detailing of your own car I am not too sure I would invest........

ONR does indeed and I agree, it's popular, having seen it in action I can see the attraction.....

I know a fair few people that swear by ONR however, it's not for me.

It does however dilute nicely to make a good clay lube and / or show QD
