climate control

Featured Replies

has anyone retro fitted the climate control in a standard a/c control apature. i have just bought a monte carlo and the manual aircon just deosnt do it for me, i was wondering if the wiring would be there to fit a climate control.

Unfortunately, the climate control is much more complex than the basic system - it has 3 sensors to the basic system's 1 and the wiring is generally not there in VAG cars.

I'd say you're stuck with it unfortunately.

more than just the wiring missing!

climate control is dual zone so there are loads of motorised flaps and other stuff to control each side of the car individually.

There are other threads on this - cost to change is reckoned to be several thousand pounds!
