hi all, went to london yesterday and picked up a set of 4 A8 winters/monoblocks, in very good condition.they came with 3 tyres too which i am going to sell (hopefully) and get some smaller profile ones!!

does anyone knows what is the best tyre size for the wheels??

and what size adapters will i need?

my car is lowered by 35mm.

I`d go 20mm all round, will make them ET22 then, should sit nice with some strech

15mm on the front 20mm rear..

they may hit the front arch being 8J

id go with 205/40/17 tires

IMO 20mm will be too much at the front.

When I had the twists on (ET20 on the fronts), the wheel would hit the arch (not the liner) on bumps & potholes :(

Agree with Jase, 15mm/20mm would be a good combo...

Ive got 205/40's with 15mm adapters front and rear on mine, its lowered alot on ap coilys and doesnt catch, you could put 20mms on the back but it wouldnt go that low without catching, al post up some pics when i get home tonight

Yours look great mate, and i almost brought some based on yours. Look forward to seeing another set on another furby. If i hadnt of brought the wheels i have done today, i think i would of gone for monoblocks

as said before 15mm adapters and 205/40 tyres and they dont catch

thanks everyone, cant wait to get them on now. got my fk adapter for 40 quid, 20mm rears and 15mm fronts. bargain!!! hopefully will get them on monday when i buy some different tyres.

Youll have to trim your wheel bolts down aswel because they will bottom out on your disks

How much did you do yours by? And what colour is yours dude, am stuck on what colour to do them

a had to take about 10mm of them if a remeber right, i think mine would catch if it had 20's on hence having 15's

Absolutely love these wheels! They look great on a fabia.

I don't think being down 35mm will do them justice though. They're low rider wheels for sure.

I'll make sure I'm low enough to pull em off!!
