Really shouldn't be washing your car that often mate. Let her get a bit dirty. Washing your car too often can end up in you damaging the paint

Rubbish. No way that washing your car properly will damage the paintwork. Any damage is down to poor technique.

I use the 2 bucket method with a home made sieve at the bottom to stop the crap getting back on the microfibre mitt,

first I spray the car first to get rid of the dust n stuff, then the wash starts from the top rinsing as I go !

That's the ideal way to do it apparently.

Check out www.polishedbliss.co.uk - Guy directed me to them recently and I've found their site extremely helpful! Also helps that their HQ is round the corner from work so i'll be paying them a visit when the furby arrives! :)

You are perhaps assuming that the car in question is being washed properly. The fact is, no matter how careful you are, micro marring is an inevitable consequence of car washing.

There's little doubt that correct technique (two bucket etc) will minimise damage, but you can not actually eliminate it.

So there's actually a strong argument in favour of not washing the paint too often. Once a week seems to be what the detailing experts say
