They are high voltge, so be very careful when messing with the wiring on these. Idealy disconect the battery first.

I don't know if you should avoid touching the glass as with a halogen bulb, but I always do just in case.

You need to remove the air intake pipe on the o/s and the plastic cover over the PSF tank on the N/S

Always buy decent bulbs - Osram/Philips etc as in my experience, cheaper alternatives can cause problems.

Search the net as the Osrams can be had for £45 if you go to the right place, over £100 at the dealer.

There is also a bit of a method to it as well, obviously don't drop the headlight if you have to take it out to fit the new bulb, and once it's fitted you are supposed to Vag-Com set the home position or the beam will be out. hth.
