Hello friends!

Hope is not the wrong place for this topic. I'll be in Plymouth for 2 weeks and I want to know if there is any RWDSK who want's a meet a coleague from Romania. (the car I own, Skoda Rapid, can be seen here: http://www.skodafriends.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=68&start=270 ). Or, maybe someone can tell me if there are any scrap yard arround, where I can look for parts for skoda or vw beetle/bus.

Welcome Sdandrei ! Plymouth a little to far for me to meet up and chat skoda,s but I am sure someone nearer can point you in the right direction for spares..Looks like they learn to drive young in Romania..! Take it from the pics you are in the process of restoring the Rapid?..Best of luck with the parts search..!

Bit far for me aswell. Good luck finding them in scrap yards mate rwdsk are rare here as are beetles nowadays.

Hi so recently purchased a 2016 superb 2.0 tdi 190. Absolutely love it but I’ve got an annoying issue with my speakers. So when purchased, 3 of the 4 main door speakers didn’t work which I replaced (brought speakers from local breakers). All worked fine for a few weeks untill the 2 rear ones stopped working. And then the driver side stopped working. So was going to use this opportunity to upgrade all speakers to pioneer however, I drove the car a few days ago I noticed a crackle sound fro

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work!
